The renowned artist Berlinde De Bruyckere breathes new life into the Drongenhof chapel in the Patershol district in Ghent. She has positioned her artwork ‘Honte, 2018-2019’ where the altar once stood: a young foal as an offering on a solid slate.

The purity and simplicity of the chapel are inspiring, and the project aims to invite various art forms into a dialogue. Composer Jeroen D’hoe initiates this dialogue by creating a new composition for mixed choir and strings, drawing inspiration from the artwork.
