Stef Van Alsenoy is a sound designer and photographer. He created surround soundscapes for photographer Stephan Vanfleteren and theatre maker Kris Verdonck, among others.
Minimalism and the use of 'found' sounds are the core of his soundscapes, where the emphasis is not on a compelling musical accompaniment but rather on an acoustic presence as an undertone to the exhibitions and performances.
