Frank Braley

Frank Braley followed an unusual path for artists of his caliber in a brilliant manner. He insists that he never actually wanted to become a pianist. After his graduation at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he was immediately catapulted onto the international stage with his First Prize win at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 1991. This artist, with his lively intelligence, sharp wit, and distinct musical interpretations, has lost none of his spontaneous and unpretentious approach to the piano, characterized by humor and poetry, modesty, grace, and unwavering sincerity.
